Here are some shots from Kwame‘s upcoming book ‘Emptyscapes’, photographed in the Arabian Desert. He has always been enamoured by the panoramic and cinematic format 2.35:1 and wanted to combine that with the vast emptiness of the desert.The book hopefully will be out in January and there will be more posts and images over on his site.

美国摄影师Ryan Mcginley生于1977年，现在生活在纽约。
2003年，他成为在美国惠特尼艺术博物馆（Whitney Museum）举办个展的最年轻的摄影师。25岁在MOMA当代艺术中心展览新作。2007年，他成为国际摄影中心（ICP）推选出的年度青年摄影师。
他的摄影作品中的主角是时下的年轻男女，深山野林，浑身赤裸，放纵又自然。画面中轻松和狂欢的姿态，让人感觉身临其境又遥不可及。这次的一组作品名为“Moonmilk”，将身体置于光陆离奇的溶洞中，制造出影绰的画面效果。2007年，他的一组名为“I Know Where the Summer Goes” 的摄影作品曾经被多家网站转载，那次的拍摄Ryan Mcginley带领十多位模特走入荒野，拍掉了4000多个胶卷。今年8月份的《HUgE》杂志的封面便是Ryan Mcginley的人像作品，而那期杂志的主题就是“Be Naked”。其他一些为LEVI’S拍摄的广告片也是大受好评。
