以怀旧的名义创新 Helwoodica
Filed under: 新知 News, Published on:03. 十二月 2009, by YukuHelvetica自然是经典，但是并不意味着没有人敢对它下手。来自巴西的设计师Felipe Dario将Helvetica字体雕刻在木板上，对印制出来的字体进行组合和再设计，反倒有了规则之外的一种美感。这款字体的修正版在著名字体分享站点Dafont上线后，短短时间就有超过5万的下载次数，甚至，著名的反对全球变暖活动Time For Climate Justice也在一只宣传片（YOUTUBE 须翻墙）中使用了该字体。
This is an incomplete work, made through the woodblock printing of lowercase glyphs of the Helvetica font. You can use and modify this font citing (Felipe Dario) as the author of the font or original font.With more than 50,000 donwloads (as of August 2009), Helwoodica is the typeface for Kofi Annan’s Time for Climate Justice. 冰冷的简约 Idealismo Design
Filed under: 设计 Design, Published on:01. 十二月 2009, by shy瑞士的设计，尤其是平面设计有一种冷酷、冰冷的简约，那种冷静的、理性的面貌不但给人以深刻的印象，也是现代平面设计最重要的风格之一。许多优秀的设计和大师出自瑞士，像是忠于网格的大师Wim Crouwel、传奇字体Helvetica等等，那种凌驾于事物之上的姿态让人过目不忘。下面的作品出自瑞士设计团队Idealismo，他们的系列作品恪守简约，又在对网格的运用中变化多端。在为本地一个音乐俱乐部所设计的年度宣传海报中，折页形成的网格中，独立的文字在张开的海报中被重新组合，叹为观止。
就像是他们的网站，黑白两色分明，除掉必要的文字别无他物。

全金属外壳 – Aluminium Cottage

Aluminium Cottage located at Minamikoma-gun, Yamanashi in Japan.Designed and built by Toyo Ito & Associates, Architects.The Aluminum Cottage as depicted by its very name is finished in aluminum and provides ample living space (74.44m2) for a couple or small family in its two roomy floors. Located at Minamikoma-gun, Yamanashi in Japan, the aluminum home features high ceilings, a loft, dining area and an all-out kitchen, providing an extensive lifestyle for wandering souls.
